Most of us agreed on the point that Roku simply had to come up with a plan which ensured that they drop many of the excessive functions but maintaining the streaming content we all fell in love with Roku for from the start.

The appearance of the Roku LT is practically much like most of the Roku 2 boxes; the box is even less space-consuming than of the Apple TV. The front part is evident with the exception of a tinny small dim light that gives the owner notice that it is on. Highly valued can also be the very strong and special purple color, because it makes it be noticeable in a group of simple black-colored sea of streaming media boxes.

Roku is starting to sell its Roku LT and Roku 2 XS players in the U.K. and Ireland. The company is hoping to cash in on the launch of Netflix in both countries earlier this week, and possibly make up for weaker-than-expected sales last year.

With today’s announcement, users across the pond will be able to stream some 40 channels over the company’s systems, including a selection of on-demand movies from Netflix and Crackle. They’ll also have access to sports programming from MLB.TV and UFC, photos from Facebook and Flickr, and news from the Wall Street Journal and Fox News. Both devices are up for pre-order now on Amazon, with the Roku LT priced at $50, and the Roku 2 XS at $100. Both are expected to begin shipping at the end of the month. What they are saying is that the show is a "million dollar REVUE" – not "review." A revue is a musical variety show; a review is an evaluation.
Sounds to me like they're just hyping the show. It might have cost them a million bucks to produce, but I expect saying that is just their way of making the show sound extra-special.

You don't play physical DVD discs on a Roku. You still use your DVD player for that. The Roku plays streaming videos that are downloaded from Netflix over the internet. You need to connect the Roku to your internet connection, with a minimum performance of 1.5 megabits/sec.
